Family legacy in light delivered! A Spring 2021 highlight as Gallery’s Choice installs a memorable custom art glass window in it’s forever home. This work, designed and fabricated by artists Rose and Bill Jarecki, was inspired by the creativity of a loving family, and holds in it a deeper meaning for life and spirit. “It was truly our honor to work on this stained glass artwork,” noted Rose Jarecki, owner/artist of Gallery’s Choice. “As an artist it is so rewarding to know your work is meaningful and will bring lasting joy.”
Sometimes the task ahead of you seems so great, like moving a mountain! And sometimes, the task of an artist is to build that mountain. In glass, of course! Every time I select a glass for one of our commissions, it is with more than just the color that I have in mind. I know the heritage that each piece of glass carries with it, and the legacy of many more artisans hands that went into the manufacture of the beautiful materials, the exquisite palette, I have to work with! As we undertake the latest commission work at Gallery’s Choice, I thought I’d share a peek behind the scenes at one of those projects in process as we move mountains for our customers!
