I consider myself an optimist but the foggy picture was only bleak to me and the bare branches creepy sort of like spider legs but I do understand as an artist that dark makes the lighter objects more visible in a painting both have their place. Loved the heart stained glass with both you and Bill❤️

    • Thanks Lyndi!

I find myself telling students – “…you must see like an artist…” all the time. They smile and nod blankly.
What I am asking them to do is to “see with their Hearts.” (See what I did there? Ha!) Especially relevant for us today.
(Did you notice the heart in the branches of our crab-apple tree?) That naturally occurring symbol has been my hope and inspiration for years now during troublesome times. And it is right outside my kitchen window.
I found it really came into focus last week due to the fog! (To your point – light vs dark!)
      Great observation!
